You can paint lamps!

Hello! Just a quick blog post to share how I did this antiqued silver finish on these lamps. It’s a finish I get a lot of requests for. Here is what you need:

Thee Velvet Glove Antiqued Silver Lamps

  1. Heirloom Traditions Chalk Type Paint in the color Black Bean
  2. Heirloom Traditions Chalk Type Paint in the color Thunderous
  3. Metallic Masters in Tarnished Silver
  4. Jet Black Liquid Wax by Heirloom Traditions

I cleaned both lamps really well, then painted on a coat of Black Bean, a very light coat of Thunderous, then Tarnished Silver and finished off with Jet Black Liquid Wax.
